The bald eagle mates at the Jericho nest site share a branch at the top of a tree by the beach as the sharp late winter sun sets.
One of the mates heads down to the beach at low tide, flying right over our heads. Later we have the good timing to look back at the water just in time to see a dog chase the eagle off the tidal flats. It lands in the low tree above the beach right in front of us!
