We went out to visit the bald eagle fish eating flats on the Harrison River and decided to stop by the General Store at the Kilby Historical Site. It was closed, but this - rather old - turkey was out in the yard.
We felt bad because it looked lonely. At first it stayed on the end of the yard, but once we started talking to it and making noises it came right up to the fence and "chatted" with us for a while!
